Gorse is a Weed of National Significance and a regionally controlled weed under the Catchment and Land Protection Act 1994, which means as a landowner in Mount Alexander Shire you have a legal responsibility to control it. Same story with blackberry and serrated tussock. • 01Landowners must meet applicable declared-weed obligations and any notice requirements. Choose the control sequence from the species and site conditions; Ironbark assesses the mechanical component and chemical treatment is arranged separately where required.
• 02Old goldfields country holds a lot of surprises under the scrub, mullock heaps, old shafts, buried fencing. We inspect the proposed work area before starting and agree controls for known hazards. Concealed shafts, fencing and other obstructions may remain undetected; affected work stops if an unidentified hazard is exposed.
