Ironbark Vegetation Management is a Bendigo based land clearing and vegetation management outfit working Mia Mia and the wider Heathcote district, all inside a 150km radius of home. Overgrown paddocks, scrub choked land, blackberry and gorse, Asset Protection Zones, fence lines, access tracks and driveways, we turn up with the right gear and get it done properly.

Heathcote sits right up against the Mount Camel Range in some of the heaviest Box Ironbark country in Victoria. Every rural residential property, winery, hobby farm and bush property around town is inside serious fire territory. Ironbark Vegetation Management works this country regularly, APZ clearing to CFA standard, forestry mulching for thick scrub and regrowth, blackberry removal, and vineyard row slashing for the wineries that run either side of the highway.

• 01Heathcote, Tooborac, Costerfield, Redesdale and Axedale are all in high or very high bushfire risk country. The Mount Camel Range creates aspect and slope that makes any fire behave badly, defensible space is not optional, it is the whole game.
• 02Vineyards along the Heathcote wine region need mid-row slashing that respects the vines, trellis wire and drippers. Cut height set right, no debris thrown into the canopy, root zones respected. We do this properly.
• 03Bush properties around Heathcote are prone to fast blackberry and scrub takeover, especially along the creek lines. Mechanical mulching plus a follow-up spray plan is the only reliable approach.
